Brew 61
Kicking off your exploration of British breweries is Brew 61! Founded in 2019, this award-winning microbrewery isn't just any operation - it's a family affair based right on their farm in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
Fresh from the Farm to Your Glass: The farm environment is the heart and soul of Brew 61's beers. Many even share names with the farm's friendly residents, a herd of Highland Cows and a flock of Dorset sheep. It's no wonder they've earned the nickname "The Beer Farm"!

Mauldons
Mauldons has recently doubled in size thanks to the creation of a large purpose-built cold store and Bottle Shop. Steve Birch has been part of the Mauldons family since 1980. Mauldons Brewery just wouldn’t be Mauldons without him. In fact, the new cold store has been named after him, ‘The Birch Building’.

Most of our beers are award-winning and we have a beer for suit everyone's taste. Our seasonal specials always go down a storm.
Our brewery family, although small, have a strong passion for making great beer. We are brought together by our shared drive to continue to produce carefully crafted ales whilst being mindful of the environment.
We're proud of our Suffolk roots and have a fascinating heritage behind us; having been associated with brewing for 230 years.

Three Acres
Three Acre Brewery is a small craft brewery located in the Sussex countryside, England. Founded in 2018, they focus on making "sessionable" ales, meaning easy-drinking and perfect for enjoying a few pints. They use modern techniques to create beers inspired by traditional English cask ales.
Three Acre Brewery offers a range of beers that combine classic English styles with modern brewing methods. Here's a quick rundown of what to expect from some of their core offerings:
- Hayloft Lager: A crisp and refreshing German Pilsner brewed with English hops, giving it a unique floral aftertaste.
- Session Pale: A light and easy-drinking pale ale with soft stone fruit flavors and a juicy aroma, perfect for a summer day.
- Mosaic Pale Ale: A more citrusy option featuring Citra hops, balanced by a smooth malt base.
They also have some darker options:
- Chocolate Oat Stout: A smooth and full-bodied stout with a rich chocolate flavour.
- Blackboys Dark Mild: A traditional dark mild with rich, malty flavours and a hint of smokiness.
Wilde Child Brewery
Next up on our tour of British breweries, we head to Leeds to Wilde Child! Founded in 2010, Armed with a couple of plastic buckets, some steriliser, some hosepipe and a malt extract kit, I ventured into the world of beer making. It wasn't long before I took the leap into all-grain brewing and bought some bigger and better kit and started to get creative. I remember eagerly waiting for the first batch of all-grain beer to condition so I could serve it to friends and family.
To my utter surprise, it turned out better than I thought. Friends and family told me that it was easily as good as something they'd had in the pub.
It was at this point, I knew what I finally wanted to do with my life ... make beer.

Lakedown Brewery
Lakedown is our family farm and fishing lakes, and the inspiration behind our new brewery. Life is generally pretty hectic for us lot, but as 2020 forced a bit of a slower pace, we got together and decided to turn our long-time dream of beer, bars and good times into a reality, right here in East Sussex.
Our vision is to make excellent versions of beers that we love to drink and create brilliant places to drink them. We brew modern and traditional beers in can, keg and cask, using the best ingredients, giving the beer the time it needs for a full flavoured end product. Our beers are easy drinking, sessionable and super fresh. All our beers are vegan and most styles are gluten free too!
For us, a beer is as much about family, friends and the surroundings as the good stuff in the can, so whether by the lake with a mate, or bouncing around at live events, we hope to have a hand in making some proper good times for you all.
